Homemade Pumpkin Pie

Thanksgiving, Christmas, or just because, this pumpkin pie is sure to please! Nothing's better than a pumpkin pie made from your own pumpkin puree, straight from the farm! Don't forget to use our pumpkin puree recipe!

Ingredients
  1. 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  2. 1 tsp cinnamon
  3. 1/2 tsp salt
  4. 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  5. 2 large eggs
  6. 2 cups pumpkin puree
  7. 12 oz evaporated milk
  8. 1 unbaked pie shell
  9. whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients in a small bowl.
  3. Beat eggs in a large bowl and add pumpkin puree, mix.
  4. Mix in dry ingredients.
  5. Gradually stir in evaporated milk.
  6. Pour into pie crust and bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce to 350 degrees and bake for 40-50 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove and cool.
